“Easy to install via the video. Instructions provided detailing how to pair other units and phone, very eazy. My helmet, Arai, has some road noise, however sound from ear pieces is very clear. Only issue: volumn buttons hard to locate, but will come with more practice. Unit highly recommended.”

“I have upgraded from an R4 EASY TALKIE Intercom to this SCS9. T he Easy Talkie is a very good unit for the price, and a great starting out unit. The sound from the SCS9 is louder and a better quality than the R4, how ever the phone mic doesn't seem to be quite as good according to my friend that I rang whist on the bike at 100 km/hr. He said it sounded like it had an echo. This might be fixed by placing a pad under the mic to get it closer to my mouth but I havent tried that yet. However I was more concern about the quality of sound for my music. With the R4 in my helmet with no ear plugs, in my kitchen, I could turn the volume up full, it was loud but I could stand it. I did the same with the SCS9 and I couldnt reach full volume before it was hurting my eardrums... VERY LOUD. Also the ability to talk to multiple people at the same time is great. No longer having to repeat messages to different riders. Love this unit. Definitely worth the price.”

“Delivery to NZ was fast and regular progress updates were sent to me. The kit was nicely presented and well packaged. I recommend the 6 minute Shark YouTube video on how to fit it. I was apprehensive about pulling the inside of my helmet apart but once I started it was easy. Fitting the base and speakers took maybe three minutes, and that was because I messed about deciding on the most efficient way to place the wires. Deciding where to place the open face microphone requires consideration to ensure that it's not too close to your face but doesn't interfere with closing the flip front of the helmet, as I have no wish to adjust it all the time. If I could, I'd be using the small concealed microphone designed for a non-flip full face helmet. Pairing it to my Android phone was effortless, and the sound is very clear. I think the buttons are a bit small, and it will require practice before I shift to my Winter gloves. I only fitted it a day ago, so I can't speak for battery life or how it copes with heavy rain.”
