Unfortunately more than likely your young athlete did not store it properly when not in use. They will not scratch unless contact is made. So how can it be scratched when it’s on the face?
The visors have an anti scratch coating the same as our football visors do. But if stored improperly we can not prevent scratching. We provide a soft bag for placing the visor into when not in use. All too often the young players throw the visor in their equipment bag still on the mask and of course the plastic gets scratched. If the product is damaged beyond use, it would be nice to receive an email so we can assess and assist you further.
