“Hokay, easy to assemble? Sure, worked right out of the box. Sturdy? Ummmmm...there is a cable that goes around a wheel on the bottom and that is what makes the pedals alternate up and down. Without it, neither pedal will rise. Ask me how I know. Did you ask? The blasted wheel fell out five minutes after I pulled the unit out of the box as I was moving it to another location. I had to work to get it back in, and to be honest, I'm still not sure how I did it, but I did and now it is working WONDERFULLY. I flipping love this.I keep it near the kitchen and hop on when I'm microwaving something, or waiting for something to boil. Personally, I'm not sure I could do sustained periods on this just because it's a very small range of motion, but who knows? Maybe for a TV episode or something like.Any reviews that say the arm bands are too loose are spot on. I'm 5'2â€, 145 lbs and have to have my hands up to shoulder level before I feel any resistance at all. I solved it by looping one of my resistance bands around the base and will do bicep curls, tricep extensions, lateral/front shoulder raises, etc. I probably wouldn't have bought it if not for this lovely virus that has so many places shut down, but I'm glad I did buy it. It's been a great addition to my home and motivator to move.I am disappointed that this is clearly a recycled unit that someone else must have returned, based on strategically placed scuff marks, it absolutely was not brand new.”
“I bought this product in the first year of the pandemic to use during online class and meetings. It is perfect for this when I am on mute. However, it is SO SQUEAKY. I tried the lubricant that came with the product. I tried WD40. I'm not even entirely sure where the squeaking is coming from, as there are many moving parts, but it makes a very loud noise with every step. Fortunately I have an understanding partner who doesn't mind the squeaking for an hour or two each day, but I could see this driving the user - and especially others in the house - crazy.”
“So far it seems sturdy, I've noticed some dust coming off. No assembly needed except checking nuts and bolts. I'm a bigger guy so I was excited when it was advertised for up to 300lbs but found later it was not actually rated for that. I've noticed the hydraulic cylinders in a 30 minute workout get extremely warm but show no signs of loss of pressure. Footpedals can be slippery so recommend wearing shoes. I definitely love the workout but when I purchase again I will definitely look for one with a higher weight rating.”
“I like that it is small since we have a small house- so far this replacement doesn't squeak badly like the first one( time will tell since I have only used it 20 minutes as of today) there was no black carbon dust underneath ( another problem with the original order) but like the 1st one the electronic meter is worthless. I was told by TRAKK tech support when I called about the first one that this is a common issue with this mini stepper so if that is a "must have " then, you may want to not buy this product. I don't really need the electronic meter so I can live without it. It does have a 2 year warranty so hopefully if other issues come up with this product the manufacturer/seller will handle because I don't think TRAKK will - they did take care of promptly picking up the defective one that I hadn't even used an hour total and shipping replacement out so that was great. I do love TRAKK!”
“I've never bought anything like this b4 so i have nothing 2 compare it 2. 1st off I'm a little worried I may b 2 big 4 it; I currently weigh in @ 230. I did try it 4 a few minutes though, & it seems it will do just fine. Hopefully, I won't eat my words after a long work out. Speaking of workout duration, the instructions say only 2 use it for 20 mins @ a time? I had looked forward to replacing my 1 hour of walking circles around my living room/kitchen w/ this. How long of a break do I need 2 take 2 let it 'cool down'? Anywho, I bought bought this bcuz, as I said b4, I was walking circles in my living room/kitchen 2 get my daily 10,000 steps in. I have put on so much weight during The Rona isolation bcuz I don't go anywhere. Therefore, I don't move enough. I'll update you later as 2 whether or not I broke it during my 1st workout. Super excited, though. Assembly was simple & I got it super fast. So far, very happy I purchased it!!!”
“Just got this today and did my first go around with it! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! For $50 it is super worth the money. Comes out of the box ready to use.One of the awesome parts is that it counts your steps and the time AND the time pauses if you stop so you can do it in the morning, pause for the day and then do more at night and the time and steps will pick up where you left off. They also give you a wrench and an Alan wrench with a Phillip's and flat head on either end so if it does happen to break, you have to tools necessary to fix it.Finally, the resistance bands that come with it are awesome, about 10lbs resistance which is perfect for me. If you get different, more resistant bands, get ones that can go easily on a clip and you should be able to use them with this machine.”
“The stepper arrived early, it's exactly as described compact that I was able to slide it under a chair when not in use. There is nothing to assemble unless connecting the exercise band or the tension knob count. Sturdy Definitely will not be worried about falling apart, only thing left for me to do is learn how to use the speedometer l? In the meantime count away, next I look forward to doing more stepping indoors let it snow, happy holidays”
