I hesitated to buy this because there were zero reviews, as I would be the first buyer. The product description is totally inadequate. Here are the reasons why I'm returning this:1) The product title says "Hot and Cold Therapy", I thought the unit itself would generate the heat AND the cold. I know this technology is existent because I bought one more than 10 years ago from Sharper Image where the massager itself was capable of generating both temperature extremes. Not this one. The Cold attachment (one of the seven attachments it came with) was actually a piece of plastic with a gel pack glued to it; to get cold temperature, you'd have to put the attachment in the freezer for a couple of hours before using. But that alone would've been okay with me, except once I hooked up the Cold attachment, the vibrating intensity is absorbed by the gel pack that the resulting vibrating force was so weak and no longer penetrating. What's worse, the Cold attachment would pop off when the massager was set to full intensity. It's useless.2) Three of the seven attachments it came with are made of hard plastic. Two of them fit snuggly, but as I said, the Cold attachment does not. The remaining four attachments were made of soft rubber! Attaching them to the massager was a slight challenge because the rubber neck of the attachments would keep curling, making it difficult to fit in. It just felt cheap.I have bought a Wahl massager about 14 years ago, and it was so durable that I still have it today, but it had only 3 attachments. The reason why I bought this one was because it not only boasted Hot and Cold therapy capability, but it also had seven attachments. But I guess it's easy to list features without the quality and durability to back them up.I checked the box, it said "Made In China according to Wahl Specifications". Well, something got lost in between, and I'm not sure if it's bad specifications or the failure to follow the specifications, The end result is a cheap-quality product that will stigmatize the Wahl brand.I seldom return stuff because I hate returning stuff. But I have no choice in this case because I either return it or feel stupid for keeping it. Caveat emptor.

Even though it says it has up to 3,350 pulses per minute, i find the device i received is not strong enough even when i turn it up to the highest setting. i question if the device i received is defective or if this model is simply not strong enough? i used it to treat the sciatic pain in my gluteal muscle, but did not find any relief.

This massager has some power. Bet you can't handle it on high... love the adjustable heads, the spinal head is my favorite. It massages close to spine without rocking on the bone. Best massager I've tried in years. I have spinal issues since I was rear ended by 18-wheeler, it relieves points of pressure that builds up.

I specifically got this for facial massage and I love it.For my taste, the massagers specifically made for the face fall WAY short on power, but on the other side of the coin I can't take a giant "thumper" massager to my face either (yes, I tried lol) so this is the perfect medium. I only use the three attatchemts in the photo, gel, nubs, and cup, so I can't speak to the others.I clean, tone and moisturize my face then and put a thin layer of oil (hemp doesn't clog my pores and remains slick, I also use it for body cupping) on my skin before use so the heads glide with minimal resistance and dragging. Once treatment is complete I then clean, tone and moisturize again (I use very gentle products and have fairly resiliant skin so this works for me).The nub attatchmet is stiff enough I can't use it on the bony top half of my forehead and because of the shape it doesn't fit the eye countors of my face. Also it's pretty agressive and not all together comfortable on may face when my skin hasn't been warmed up first. In comes the magical gel head, I don't freeze it, on the contrary I set it gel side down in a shallow dish (so I don't run the risk of flooding it and mold subsequently growing) of hot tap water to warm it up before use. It conforms perfectly to all of my contours and is amazingly gently. I use it all over my face to warm it up and get the areas the nub head can't be used. Once I'm satisfied I then switch out the head for the nubs and go to town until my skin is tingling/numb and rosey red. Perfection! It's so relaxing having all the tension massaged out or my face, and it removes ALL of my puffyness! Which is a total bonus because I mainly got this for helping my acne... over the past year I discovered, accidentally, that stagnation is the mortal enemy of my skin, and the more manual circulation it gets the better off it is.I've tried many different things, techniques and products, both manual and electric to increase circulation and this Wahl is the best by far, without being too aggressive (unsuitable for daily use) or too wimpy (taking forever to get good culation going). In addition the price point for this application can't be beat! (Anything marketed for the face seems to be exsorbabanly more expensive regardless of what it is or how it's made).Ok, now for the cons... It's loud, not the vibration, but there's something in it that rattles, super annoying cuz I like to watch TV while I massage my face. For it's size and strength, it's a little on the heavy side. The "variable" speed is a joke, there is only a VERY slight difference between it's highest and lowest setting. And finally, not returnable, I understand why a "small personal massager" wouldn't be returnable for hygienic reasons but it's still a downside for those of us not planning on using it on our naughty bits.If you've been looking for a more gentle massager for wound healing, painful joints, face, ect this is awesome for the price point and I highly recommend it! If your looking to do some therapeutic deep tissue work look elsewhere it's not powerful enough.I hope this review was helpful, toodles!

It fits the purpose and I love all of the different attachments. I would of given it a 5, but the case is not has nice as the one my sister got when she purchased from the store. It was a few dollars more, so that would be the reason for the price difference.

The video is misleading and borderline false advertising. There is no percussion function, instead it vibrates. U can get the same vibrations from an electric hair clipper.. this is a waste of money if u are looking for a solid massager to aid with muscle soreness and blood circulation
