His back began giving him extreme pain about 6 months ago. “I tried my friends cushion in the passenger seat of my car and it was so comfortable. I sat higher and my back didn't round into the bucket seat. So I ordered the same cushion. I even recommended it to another friend, and she surprisingly owns the same one, and loves it. She hadn't thought to try it in the car. (If you are tall, it might make you sit too high up to use in the car.) Fast delivery and super comfy.”
“I don't think there's anything wrong with this cushion but it's not right for me. I tried it several times and each time within about 15 minutes of driving, I could feel a pain creeping into my lower back and hip. When I went back to my old car seat cushion, I had no pain at any time. So I guess this one will get sent back and I'll stick with the old one!”

“I ordered this for my brother, who is dealing with cancer that has spread to the bone. It hurts for him to sit for more than 15-20 minutes. He said it felt a little firm at first, but began to soften a bit. Body heat does that to memory foam, so I asked him to give it some time. He's used it now for two days and said it has helped tremendously. He used it in the car today to travel an hour each way to the doctor, and he was fairly comfortable for that time. So yes, this is a good cushion that has provided him some relief from the pain of sitting.Update: Sadly, my brother passed away. But in his final four months of life he used this cushion. “I ordered the gel cushion and the regular seat cushion, both are the same brand. My husband and I have had a tough time riding 4 hours in a plane seat that feels like it only has a 1/4 inch cushion! Our flight is in a week but we have been using these cushions on our desk chairs and in our car. They have really improved our "sitting experience". I guess I will be one of those people that are constantly carrying their cushion with them! Love it.”
