“I have tried several of these lumbar pillows and this ComfiLife has been the best. Ironically the worst lumbar pillow I tried was more than double the price of this product but it was hard as a rock and by far the most uncomfortable one of them all (and did nothing to relieve back pain; actually made it worse). What is difficult to find in these lumbar pillows is the right balance between firm and soft. For me this product hit the sweet spot. For a firmness scale where 0 = jello and 10 = concrete; I would put this squarely at a "5". In other words I found it to be just right and the fact that it is competitively priced makes it a big winner. Most importantly I can say without reservation that this product actually seems to have decreased the amount of back pain that I have (I use it with a desk chair). I cannot say that it has completely relieved my back pain but I do not think there are any products that can do that for people with chronic back issues.Full Disclosure: I did not get this product at a discount or receive it for free. I wish companies would stop doing this but apparently everyone is playing this game now. When was the last time you saw a 2 or 1 star rating from someone who got the product for free? I have yet to see it once but I do see many products littered with 5 star ratings from people who got it for free. I'm sure it is just a coincidence (/sarcasm).”
“I had back surgery 7 years ago and screwed it up again- opting not to have another surgery because i wasn't nearly as bad, but still have chronic pain. Having a desk job that requires me being in a chair for 8 hours a day, i was miserable by the end of the day. I figured i would have constant back forever. After a week of using this i go home at the end of the day and i'm not in pain, i have more energy, and can get more done at home. “I love this support pillow! I have quite a bit of pain in my lower back, even sitting for a little while would make it spasm. I decided to see if a lumbar support pillow would help. I tried a different one first. Didn't like it at all! It was hard and uncomfortable. This pillow, however, was fabulous from the first time I used it. Now I put it on my kitchen chairs, my recliner, and couch. The straps work great for chairs with backs. I've had no trouble with slippage getting up from my chair and then returning to it. The memory foam is supportive and yet soft. Perfect!”

“Recliners are supposed to ease aching but even new ones can make you feel like you are slumping in your chair. This supports your lower spine so you don't have that curvature of your back. We own 3 of them.”
