“I'm 63 and about 260 lbs. and I just started having tail bone pain when sitting in my office chair at home. I couldn't last 20 minutes before I got this cushion. Now I have no more pain when using this cushion. At first I felt a little funny sitting on it because it does raise you up a bit. But once you're on it a few minutes it molds itself to your shape and it compresses a little. I got used to it real quick.I haven't tried removing the cover to wash it yet but that is a nice feature. I would tell anyone that has sitting pain to get one of these. I love mine.”
“This cushion does provide some relief for my chronic coccydynia but like another reviewer noted, the foam flattens out when you sit on it, so it is not very supportive. It's not as comfortable as other coccyx cushions I have tried. I wanted to try a different type of cushion material because the Contour Products coccyx cushion material is a bit firm. It's not my favorite cushion.”
“Pros: Great support, no tailbone issue even after prolonged seating, it contours to your butt cheeks well, it reduces back pain and it doesn't slide off your office chair that easily.Cons: The fabric seems to be poorly made (I ripped a two inch hole just by transporting it from the parking lot to my desk - about 140 feet away), not a soft cushion like how I initially thought (it will eventually contour to your butt cheeks minutes after you sit on it) and I was hoping if it can at least be 2 inch longer..”
“Since quarantine,I felt like I was sitting at my desk more at work, not getting up as much since the office is closed to the public. This has helped make my chair more comfortable. Soft & comfortable. I don't hurt as much when I get up from sitting for a long period of time”
“I have several issues with my back, two herniated disks, scoliosis and a twisted hip, it's a mess in there. On top of everything I injured my tailbone last summer. Comfilife coccyx cushion has been a life saver to alleviate sitting pain after the injury and I am pretty happy with the quality of their products & customer service so I jumped on it when I saw they also make a lumbar pillow. Best decision ever.I am now using my memory foam seat cushion with the lumbar pillow, they perfectly complete each other and transformed my old office chair into a premium orthopedic chair sold in ergonomic furniture stores. The lumbar pillow supports my posture and the seat cushion relieves sitting pain. I don't think I can ever go back to sitting long hours without these two. Planning on getting a second set for my dad as a fathers day gift. Thank you for offering such nice products at affordable prices.”
“Bought 3 of these! Broke my tailbone twice and working in an office gets to irritating back lower back! This has made a world of difference.. my coworker curious had me purchase one for her after a spinal fusion gone wrong and corrective surgery didn't leave much improvement in pain! She can now make it through an 8hr day with less pain.. she had me order a 2nd for hercar.. I wouldn't call it a miracle worker for her, but certainly has helped a good deal.”
“I started a new job which consisted of sitting all day and immediately had mid back paind and lower back stiffness. I could not bear the pain anymore so my fianc suggested I get a seat cushion. This alleviated my lower and mid back pain immediately, it does make a huge difference. No more pain!!! I only gave it 4 stars because think i would like a full cushion without the donut hole instead. Sometimes i feel loop sided, not sure if its my chair or just my back and posture, i've been trying to figure it out. But is worth buying just measure your seat chair so it fully fills your seat and doesn't move around. As long as i am not in pain Im good. I do recommend.”
“I weigh 160 pounds and have wide hips. I have low lumbar sacral herniations. There are many cushions out there that are like sitting on rocks. One very popular and recommended brand is made of (what feels like) styrofoam. I think it really is styrofoam. I find this one very supportive and stable. I now have two, one for the car and one for home use. The cut out in the rump may be good for hemorrhoid sufferers.”
