“This knee pillow is hard. Way too uncomfortable to sleep with. The enclosed sheet says it will conform to body "within a few days." In the meantime, though, it keeps my legs way too far apart to sleep at all. Plus, it is not comfortable.”
“I have back issues to begin with and being pregnant only makes things a little more adventurous. I was told to get a knee pillow to help relieve some back and sciatic pain I've been having and will continue to have. I bought this pillow based off of the reviews. For my liking, it's just too soft and squishy. When it gets warm it tends to compress much more than needed and doesn't really do much except for keeping my legs aligned because of the contours. That is a helpful thing, but I really needed the gap between my legs to help with the sciatic pain. It just doesn't maintain that once it gets warm (maybe 3-5 minutes after covering up). The middle is about 3 inches, maybe a bit more, but it collapses to around less than an inch. I prefer something a bit more stiff or at least a soft material that maintains shape and thickness to provide adequate support as designed. For me, this doesn't do it.”
“Perfect for post hip replacement surgery. Made me very comfortable and I felt good knowing I was keeping my leg stable as per precautions set by surgeon.”
“I should have double checked the dimensions before purchasing. The fabric is nice and soft as is the density of the knee pillow itself. Arrived quickly with minimal packaging. I am of very small stature and the knee pad was too wide between my legs to fit comfortably, because of the size, moving around in bed was also a bit cumbersome. However, I should have measured the dimensions first. Will work with a big boned man.”
“I had a hip replaced a month or so ago. One of the things they tell you is that if you sleep on your side, you have to have a pillow between your knees. After having tried a regular pillow for a while and finding it not quite satisfactory, I decided to try this pillow. It's a good size, stays put (which a regular pillow doesn't), and the memory foam just feels nice.”
“This is being written after one night with the knee pillow:I was advised to purchase a knee pillow due to having damaged discs in my lower back as a way to ease pressure from that zone as I am a side sleeper. After one night I can tell it has made a difference. I didn't wake with the back aches and such that I am used to.If you do not have experience with memory foam products, you may be concerned about heat transfer and comfort. The pillow itself never felt warm to me, and I tend to run hot. I could tell it helped with my circulation though as my feet were warmer than usual, which for me was a welcomed effect. If you purchase this, one thing I can advise is you may want to try it first on, say, a weekend when you can sleep a different schedule some. You do, at first, seem to be aware of the pillow. It has no strap, so it can move about on you if you are someone that shifts about in bed much. My placement was just above my knees, and for comfort and to aid in 'gripping' the pillow I crossed my ankles. This seemed to help keep it relatively in place during the night.I did wake a few times and found it had shifted, but at no point, for me, was it just off in the bed somewhere. That was a nice discovery since I share my bed with my fiancee'.Overall I really like this pillow and the construction is great. It doesn't sink in much when you use it, doesn't seem to cause the body to over heat, plus it is designed for you to be able to clean the cover easily, which is a huge bonus. I can see me purchasing other products from the manufacturer in the future.”
“I bought a second one of these for my husband, after buying one for me because of my right hip and knee and a ease the pain I get when lying on my side. I also found it works well, if I'm on my back, to lift that same hip slightly, keeping my nerve, from being compressed and causing numbness and tingling. My husband and I both have arthritic knees and are finding this product to be a godsend. Regarding durability, because I haven't had it long, I don't feel I can fully judge it. However, it seems very well made and, another plus, has a removable zippered cover, which looks very well made.”
