“Looking for relief from hip arthritis pain for joint replacement surgery I tried this knee pillow as an alternative to various pillows I had been using. It's nicely compact. But it doesn't allow for any variation in the positioning of your legs when sleeping and it doesn't really hold your legs that far apart so the effect was minimal. A small pillow was actually much more effective and adjustable. In addition, the first time I removed the cover to wash it it immediately tore and the zipper ripped when trying to replace the foam in the cover.”
“I bought this due to hip dysplasia and a stubborn labral tear (just to give you some context). The pillow is firm and helps keep some of the pressure off of my hips, so it does its job. How effective it is, I believe, is due in part to what kind of sleeper you are. I found that it's often fallen off the bed or in the middle of it somewhere--it doesn't stay put when I move, but I wouldn't necessarily expect it to. So it does its job!”
