My wife has been using this massager every night. She has mixed connective tissue disease, and she says this does help with her pain. I think it's a good value, because it is able to do a fine job massaging, while also providing pressure that the individual needs.

The best Massager I`ve ever used. Diabetics should get it just for the circulation effect.I use it after leg workouts. Puts me to sleep, it is so relaxing. All the features that you would spend $300.00 for.The test of time is on-going. No regrets so far.

This foot massager is amazing. I use it every day and it really helps with my plantar fasciitis and arch pain. I also have a small bunion that is actually going away as well. I have small feet (womens US size 5) and find it very comfortable to use. I started at the 15 minute setting on low and slowly increased to 30 minutes on medium. I find the heat sufficient. If it got any warmer, it would lead to increased inflammation rather than having a soothing warming effect.

Bought this for my husband who's feet hurt all the time. Has different levels of compression, massage for individual use and he uses it on the highest level. Heat works well on our unit. Somewhat noisy but not distracting. After a few days a definite improvement on the lack of soreness in his feet! Very nice product!

I like this massage, but I'm not in love with it. I'm a women's size 6 1/2 and I feel like depending on how I move my foot around I can get a good massage on my heel or the ball of my foot, but it never really gets into the arch. I use it on the highest intensity and the highest compression and feel like it could still be stronger. My husband is a size 9 1/2 and likes the intensity, but agrees that it doesn't get into his arches enough.

This unit can accommodate feet up to a men's size 12 (US) which is perfect for my size 11 ½ feet. All of the buttons are touch sensitive. Meaning you don't have to push them, just touch them and they respond. Pushing them actually causes NO response from the buttons. There is no remote to lose and it's not needed. The first time I used it, I didn't notice any heat at all, but then I realized the delivered package had been sitting out on my front porch for hours soaking up the West Texas sun. I didn't feel the unit generate any heat because the whole thing was already warm. Sadly, once the unit cooled off I tried again and found the heating function to be very minimal. I only started to feel some heat two thirds through the fifteen minute cycle and it wasn't readily noticeable. My feet could just as well have warmed up just by being stuffed inside the unit. I was able to verify that there had actually been heat by touching the bottom of my feet after the massage cycle and found the bottom of my feet to be warm. If you want to feel what little heat there is through the entire massage cycle then you should do as another reviewer mentioned. Run the unit through a fifteen minute cycle with the heat on. Then stick your feet in and get your massage. There is no intensity setting for the heat. It's either on or off. Whether or not you wear socks during the massage depends on how intense a setting you choose as well as how sensitive your feet are. I like the highest intensity with no socks. The massage function is very quiet, but the pump to fill the airbags is pretty loud. I expected this as I have a full body massage chair that has the same function for my feet, legs, hips and wrists so I don't have an issue with the noise. The airbags repeatedly increase and decrease their pressure while the soles of your feet enjoy the Shiatsu massage. This did feel very good on my feet. The massaging action kneaded the entire bottom of my foot except for the higher portions of my arch. Just as I expected the noisy air pump, I expected this as well and so don't have an issue with it.For both the Shiatsu massage and the air bags there are three levels of intensity. Each function has it's own button to adjust this intensity so you can, for example, set the Shiatsu at low intensity and the airbags at high intensity. You cannot turn either function off completely. You always get both functions. Turning the unit on, both functions begin in low intensity mode. By touching the buttons they move to medium and then high intensity. Another touch brings them back to low intensity. Not knowing how intense the massage would be, I left my socks on for the first experience. I turned it on and it went to work. Within thirty seconds I went to medium intensity. Fifteen more seconds and I went to high intensity. It felt good and I felt no pain caused by the massage. I stopped the unit, took my socks off and immediately went back to high intensity. It still felt good with no pain. I think I would like an even higher intensity, but this feels sufficient. There is no memory. I didn't expect one. If you enjoy a high intensity massage and then turn the unit off then the next time you turn it on it will begin in low intensity. You will need to touch the buttons again to increase intensity. You have a choice of a fifteen minute or thirty minute massage. It defaults to fifteen. Touch the timer button once and the red light above it will turn blue indicating a thirty minute massage. Touch it again to go back to a fifteen minute massage. When you turn the unit on it automatically starts a fifteen minute massage cycle so have your feet in the unit before turning it on. The intensity always starts at the low setting. Heat is on. You can of course turn the heat off by touching its button. If you have tiny feet, you may want to reconsider purchasing this unit. Because it accommodates such large feet I wonder if the airbags might have issues filling up enough to put pressure on small feet. It may do just fine with small feet. I don't know. It's just something to think about. In summary, I found the Shiatsu massage on the soles of my feet to me more than adequate. The same for the pulsing airbag pressure around the rest of my foot. The unit is very intuitive, easy to operate, has some weight and feels solid, The foot covers where you insert your feet can be unzipped and removed for washing. The heating function is weak which I consider to be the only down check. There are so many styles of foot massagers out there it was difficult to choose one, but I lucked out by choosing this one as it pretty much meets my needs.

I ordered this for Christmas on December 28th and gave it to my mom on January 1st. She ended up not liking it but the window for return closed on the 4th. Not enough time to get everything in order. Now I'm out of $150.
