“Getting straight to the point- after a few days, I was ready to give this a 2 or 3 rating, but after learning exactly how to use it, it's now a 4. I see where a few of the others went wrong as well, considering I was just as concerned after placing my order looking at a few of the other more critical reviews. What I do find complicated for the new user of this is also a great thing for this one only if you are willing to really work it along the belly of the muscle you are trying to loosen...After dealing with a kaput battery on my previous Vi Pro brushless motor model that was actually reasonably quiet (and has been a lifesaver for my wife & I to combat sciatica by using while stretching) one needs to recognize the 2 different modes this has based on PRESSURE, because although awkward that's the only way you can take it up a notch. The immediate pressure actually feels fine, but to us, just doesn't seem to have the "umph"/power that our previous had (and maybe this is a good thing for beginners), but while cycling through until familiarized, that pressure may be too weak/strong for one's preferences. Because you really have to press down to intensify the vibration, sometimes one hand is just not hand is not enough.A few redeeming quality that I really appreciate about this gun is the soft accordion rubber bit (for static focused pressure on one area) that you can put on your neck and areas in need of lower longer term pressure. I can't tell you how satisfying this feels... And if you that's all you need this for, I can say this would be a 5 star item. When selecting the proper bit/attachments, one needs to know whether or not the texture is also conducive/smooth to sliding it along the problematic area. We use body oils to help, but I've found that polyester clothing does offer a "glide" in a more public space. A concern of mine for this particular model [and other models that are of low to mid tier] is that you can really tell when the design team that engineered these really put some thought into everything outside of the motor and ergonomics. I REALLY appreciate that they added so many bits. However, what you need to watch out for are making sure the bits have some screw in congruently-- the "screwdriver" or wishbone bit should be have their threads situated where they are lining up at 9 & 3 o' clock when holding the gun straight, due to assumed ergonomics. I partly broke the oscillating plastic link that connects the base plate to the motor (but was able to take it all apart and fix it) by trying to get it flush and see if I could the screwdriver bit lined up. Very disappointed in that particular aspect, along with the bits being hollow on the inside. I can see where they decided to cut cost, along with the realization that because this motor isn't the strongest, maybe it takes less power to drive the bits?Lastly, please make sure this thing is charged, and ready to go. You don't have to press the power button too long, just a quick push and you should be fine, otherwise you might think it's malfunctioning (like I did).”
“This may be the best thing we have ever purchased. I got it on sale but certainly would have paid full price. And haven't tried the other brands but I cannot imagine it being better than this particular product.”
“This massage gun has a great battery life and the 5 levels of intensity are enough for a gentle massage or a more intense deep tissue one. Great product for the price.”
