“This was my second purchase from Gentleman's Gazette. The first was gloves. I could not have been happier with my purchase. They are exactly what was described and I have absolutely no regrets with my purchase.. Awesome product! Packaging was elegant and over the TOP! It is no wonder to me that I am equally pleased with my purchase of the striped socks. They fit well, stay up even after several washings and I am very pleased with the look. I have had several compliments on them. My biggest complaint is that I had to wait several weeks for my size to be restocked. I am currently deciding on which colors to order next!”

“I smile every time I look down and glimpse my colorful striped socks from Fort Belvedere. They're as elegant as a fine silk necktie. And by the way, I've never owned a pair of over-the-calf socks that didn't sag and bag around the ankle (which is not an elegant look at all). These socks stay up, and they're comfortable to boot. Highly recommended!”

“I was hesitate to buy a pair of 40$ socks, one my wife would kill me second why not just buy off amazon. I put these socks on and WOW they are worth the price of admission. I am not a man of means but i am trying to be more stylish and dapper with my wardrobe. The socks are soft and you can see the top notch craftsmanship that goes into this product. They have great color combinations that just POP when your wearing them. Last but not least I got this gorgeous box to store my socks in and the entire experience was top notch. The attention to detail and customer service have won me over. I just need to purchase 4 more pair now. LOL! Great Product!! Thanks for all the videos and great advice. -Tony”

“Good quality sock but the 10.5-12 sizing (large) is way too large for my size 10.5-11 feet. The socks go up to the middle of the knee. I'm going to try washing and drying them on hot to shrink them. Would buy again just the one size down (M).”

I am sorry to hear that. Please wash a pair, let it dry and wear it afterwards and see how they fit. There will be some shrinkage, so you do not want to start out too small. If you have other socks that are unworn, we can exchange them for you so you get the right size, but unfortunately, we cannot accept returns of used socks or socks without the tags.

“The socks are good, the fabric is great, they have adequate length and they stay up the whole day. My only real product concern is that the toe is a tad large for me (UK7.5). The three star score is however a reflection of the price. At USD 40 these are almost double the price of brands like Mazarin, Gammarelli and Bresciani, which I would argue hold similar quality.”

Dear Marius, I have socks of all of these brands, and at least mine all slide down after a few washes. That being said, we use a more expensive yarn than they do, hence the price difference. I hope you enjoy wearing them!

“Once you have experienced the Fort Belvedere socks, you finally understand what a quality sock is. There's not turning back! I recently purchased the Burgundy-Grey sock along with the Navy-Red ones. They are just as amazing, light, comfortable, breathable as my previous Fort Belvedere socks and they hold up my legs like nothing I've ever seen before! The Navy-Blue striped socks are my most versatile ones. I can wear them with practically anything and it always looks appropriate, stylish and timeless.”
