“Recently, I upgraded my wardrobe, adding lots of nice shoes. Like everyone else, I have always worn the usual black, blue, and brown socks, the ones you buy in six pair bundles. I have admired the striped socks from Ft. Belvedere for some time, and following Rafael’s guidance, ordered four pairs in various colors. These are some fine socks, they really change the look of whatever I’m wearing, whether it is jeans, chinos, or slacks. It is surprising that something we see so little of can make such a difference. They stay up too, and shrink down to a perfect fit after washing. One thing to be aware of, though, is that these are very thin socks, almost semi-transparent, and so they may not be as comfortable with the lack of cushioning and thickness you might be used to. I solved this by wearing them over a pair of no show socks, so that now I have the comfort and fit I’m used to, with the look of truly elegant, beautiful socks. You owe it to yourself to try some of these fine men’s hose.”

“Before finding Fort Belvedere's socks, I had the hardest time landing on a pair of socks that would stay up throughout the day, never reveal my calves (even when seated) feel comfortable to wear,match easily with the rest of my wardrobe, and stand the test of time without pilling or developing holes. I've only had my Fort Belvedere socks for a few days, but I feel confident they will satisfy all of those criteria and more. And bonus points- the packaging is some of the nicest I have seen from any brand, socks or not!”

“Not only do the socks look great, they are comfortable and stay up. I watched the Gentlemen's Gazette sock episode, and was drawn to FB socks because they come in various sizes. My feet are uncomfortable in department store which socks are too small. I wear a size 13 shoe and the XL FB socks fit perfectly. FB socks are bit pricey at $40, but well worth the money for the comfort and quality.”
