“It would be hard to overstate how stunning quality of this boutonniere. As all boutonnieres from Fort Belvedere it solves the pinning something ugly and fake looking to your lapel with the fantastic "stem" and real looking flower, but the material choice with this rose really makes it special. It looks and feels soft The texture it adds just adds even more to the realistic look for the flower and makes the light play with the flower in a lovely fashion. This boutonniere will make your entire outfit pop and you will standout and be noticed! I literally have nothing negative to say about this product. Not one thing. Buy one.”

“I've been on a journey to really become more "dapper" with my style, and Fort Belvedere really helped me to add some flair to my suits with this incredible boutonniere. I recently went on a cruise with 3 boutonniere's from Fort Belvedere, including this red velvet rose, and I must say I got numerous compliments on this item. This rose looked impeccable with my navy 6x2 double breasted suit, which I paired with a white shirt and a silver checkered tie. I always felt my suits needed some more pop than the simple pocket square, and this accessory added just what I wanted. People thought that this was actually a real rose. Having the boutonniere in my suit gives me a tremendous confidence boost, because I know this is a unique feature that not many men add to their outfits today, and I know this rose looks amazing. I am completely satisfied with this velvet rose from Fort Belvedere.”

“This is a really beautiful piece - and that is only enhanced by the fact that the fact that it is not only visually appealing, but the velvet material has a great texture to it as well. It goes well with a variety of outfits, from a black tie ensemble to a more casual sport coat mixture, and it clearly survives better than a real flower.”

“Disclosure: Provided with a 10% discount to write a review. Description. Petals are on the red side of burgundy. Diameter is approximately 2" The "stem" is a metal wire loop wrapped in satin thread which can be bent into a desired shape. The petals fronts have a velvet finish which lends to the convincing look. The petal backs are plain stiff faux velvet backing material. Back of flower has some green fabric petals cut to be very convincing. Impressions. With 20/20 vision at a distance of 4 feet the boutonniere looks very convincing. 2 feet and less, it is attractive but any examination would reveal it's artificial nature due to the velvet fuzz patterns being observable. The bend back of the last set of petals guards the unfinished petal backs from view fairly effectively. The stiff nature of the formed petals would indicate that accidentally crushing the Boutonniere would damage it cosmetically. Overall 4 stars. It works well in situations where you want a Boutonniere for style purposes, but being discovered wearing a convincing "fake" wouldn't be a big downer. Which is exactly what you want an artificial Boutonniere to be.”
