“It is very hard to find any negative aspects on this purchase: the quality (fabric, weave, elasticity, heel and toe) is beyond discussion and can only be called superb. I especially ilke the the yellow stripes which I got several compliments on. It just makes me feel more self-confident to wear proper socks. My previous dressing problem has odten been sock-related. I did not know to get the right quality (100% cotton, usually they have a small percentage of elasthan) and the right length (even the longer italian ones that I bought in Rome never stayed up), not mentioning the right pattern (not too boring, not too blatant). So, in the end, I am really happy with these socks, which understandably come at a price. I will wear them for my suits, not so much for casual wear or in winter.”

“These socks are definitely some of the nicest socks that I have. I do have other various calf socks, but none of them are as detailed looking. These go well with a surprising variety of trouser colors. I would highly recommend.”

“These socks are amazing, please allow me to tell you why: 1. The sock are true 'over the calf' and they stay up all day long 2. They are light weight (I can hand wash and dry when traveling) 3. The sizing is perfect 4. The colors are very rich and beautiful - and versatile 5. I have owned other colors for 6 months and they look better than new 6. The quality of construction is outstanding 7. I feel great when wearing these because socks are no longer the weak link in my appearance. Historically I could never find a sock I loved, and I am not a fan of the currently popular 'silly socks'. Fort Belvedere socks have a timeless elegance that will look great long after the silly sock trends are dead.”
