“At first glance, these cufflinks are beautiful. I had not realised, however, that buying two pairs meant they'd be sent in one small box. I hoped to give a second pair away as a gift but now do not have a box to do so. I found that quite tacky and wish it had been made clear that only one small box was included per order. What disappointed me more, however, was that on close inspection the gold plating was missing in several spots of the cufflinks. The silver shined through. I don't think it would be too difficult to fix, they just need a little more gold plating, but basic quality control should have caught this. It is genuinely upsetting. As I live outside the U.S. and had to pay import taxes to receive this item, returning it for repairs is a non-starter. Lesson learned: only buy jewellery locally in future!”

“The cuff links are heavy and a nice gold. I am excited to see how they patina, but I’ve used them for several black tie events so far and I’ve gotten compliments on them more than once. From a distance they look almost plain, but the details of the knot show up when closer. So perfectly discreet without being anonymous”

“I have now made three separate purchases through Gentlemen's Gazette of menswear. The quality of the items I've purchased has been first rate, and I really appreciate the care in packaging as well as the expedited shipping. The Monkey's Fist Cufflinks are solidly crafted and easier to attach to my cuffs than cheaper ones: they push through the cuffs easily to attach, and they look wonderful. I'm going to buy matching studs next. Also, if you're taller and are looking for longer ties, you can find them here. I happened onto this website when looking for a simple pocket square with a monogram to wear to my daughter's wedding, which I found in Irish Linen. It's nice to find classic menswear at a reasonable price and excellent service. --Rick F.”

“I like them alot, and im glad I made the purchase. I bought a French cuff shirt some time ago and didn't even realize it until i recieved it in the mail. So I knew I needed cufflinks. Once I made the investment it came together very well. They're stylish, classic and well designed. I look forward to growing my classic mens wardrobe. I'll be buying more shirts that require cufflinks, and I don't know anyone that has these bad boys. I'll be coming for the silver pair soon.”
