“Living in Singapore, I have had trouble finding decent neckties, as virtually no men wear suits or ties here (normal business attire is a too-tight open-neck shirt with too-tight hip-hugging cheap synthetic/wool blend trousers and badly scuffed shoes). Cravats are non-existent outside of formal-wear shops and most shop people never heard of them. I was delighted by my purchases (3 ties + day-cravat) and the cravats always draw remarks/compliments/baffled stares. I do feel the prices are a tad on the high-side for Vietnamese produced goods, albeit using first-class silk fabrics, and I have slight concern about how long the wide stitching on the back seam of the ties will hold up. The dark navy pattern on the cravat I bought actually looks more black when actually seen. Service and packaging is first-rate. Would love to see a greater assortment of products in green.”

“The quality of this tie is unbelievable. It's definitely a staple for anyone who attends many weddings and funerals like I do. After getting my shipment of Fort Belvedere ties, I donated my old ties (from department stores and TheTieBar) because the standards are much higher with these new items in my closet. I definitely feel more confident about putting an outfit together considering how sharp these ties are with higher quality suits or jackets.”

“The Tie looks great, but the backside of the tip was frayed and there is about 3 inches of tangled thread showing. These are issues that I hoped to avoid when spending more money on a higher quality product.”

“I work as a lawyer, and was a bit unsure about ordering this tie, but it looks great with a navy blue suit. Quality seems really good, the same with the other ties that I ordered as well. Would definitely buy again from GG.”

“Being a lawyer, I was looking for some elegant necktie to wear with my business attire. This silver tie perfectly serves that purpose. Formal, yet not too ceremonial (though I can imagine wearing it also to a less formal wedding). Pairs well with any darker suit (black, charcoal, darker greys) and is an excellent match with the Fort Belvedere sivler cufflings (https://www.gentlemansgazette.com/shop/accessories/cufflinks/cufflinks-monkey-fist-knot-925-sterling-silver), which I purchased together with the tie. If you are buying the untipped version, be ready to tie larger knots as, in my view, the small ones (including four in hand) do not work that well given the lightness of the fabric. On the other hand, the larger knots (including full windsor) do not look that bulky with the thinner untipped version.”

“I was looking for a good tie to use for myself and my groomsmen for my wedding, and this fit the bill perfectly. It’s a nice color and pattern that is distinctive, original, but not too flashy. The pictures here do not really do the tie justice, the silk has a nice sheen to it, and has almost an iridescent look to it. The interlining is thin, but the tie is not flimsy. I quite like how the tie looks and I have gotten good feedback from others as well.”
