“Ok I like bow ties and have been wearing them for years but the diamond points I was exposed to at GG licked it up to a whole new level and I have several in different types of silk. All bought here. all wonderful in quality and look. I liked the look of this, the color would add a new range to me wardrobe and the courser shantung silk would look more casual. I got it in the mail and it looks right up to my expectations. So why only 4 stars? the thickness of the silk, the thing that makes it more casual, also makes it harder to tie the knot. Year i can do it but it takes far more work that the madder or jacquard silk ties do. So keep that in mind. Yes it looks as good in real life as it does here BUT, you are going to spend more time fiddling with it to get it tied and will probably end up having it longer than most other ties you have. It looks good. it is wonderful quality, but just be aware of that one little issue.”

“I'd like to keep this review short and sweet. This bow tie is just so lovely and a much welcomed addition to my wardrobe. It pairs well with all my outfits and works really well with my summer attire. In case your wondering if you can wear brown as a summer color the answer is YES it's all about what colors you pair with it. I personally love to pair it with a brown and blue pocket square from fort belvedere I purchased not to long ago. What I like the most about this bow tie is that it doesn't scream for attention like other bow ties on the market and it stands out in it's own sophisticated way. Well worth the purchase.”

“This is the 5th bowtie from the Gentleman's gazette; I purchased Shantung, two tone, Green & purple cream, Dark red & blue, bronze, orange & green, two tone Brown, green & white AND the ancient madder silk buff, red & black; as you can probably see, I am a bow tie guy. The problem before was that I had a difficult time finding a quality product in bow ties, to big, to small, polyester, NOT silk.. . etc. I really like the classic look of these ties; the Winston Churchill, Fred Astaire classic look and feeling. I have always loved bow ties and have had a plethora of looks from people when wearing them, from amazement, to amusement to frowns and smiles; I appreciate Mr. Schneider giving a serious nod to classic style in the modern world.”
