“Before I bought the Fort Belvedere glove I've one leather glove and that glove can't compare to the Fort Belvedere glove. The Fort Belvedere fit way better feel a lot more comfortable and over well made product. I've been using mine for 4 months now, and let me just say the tan lamp napa have develop a very nice patina ( it just just like vegetable tan leather in my opinion).”

“I went looking for domestic glove producers at a reasonable price because I couldn’t find any. These gloves are great in that regard. They fit very well through the hand and fingers, are made of wonderfully soft lambskin and nicely lined, but are too long at the wrist end of the glove. As a result they fold back on themselves against coat sleeves. Shorten the wrist length and reduce the size of the button.”

“This gloves are certainly an upgrade from my last pair. First, these are warm gloves for being dress gloves. Second, they really do fit my hands well. I have long and narrow hands, and these fit very well after a week or so of break in (they started a bit snug). Overall great gloves, but if I had to make one suggestion it would be to make a pair in a more traditional color, such as dark brown or black.”

“Pardon my pun on the review title but this is the first time I wear a leather glove where I can understand what the old adage means. The glove is true to the size. After a couple of wears (~8) it takes the shape of your hand and then it is just perfect. Now I have a hard time going to another pair of gloves since I can tell the difference right away. The quality of the leather is also superb. Very smooth to the touch. I wish I had bed sheets made of the same material :D They are long gloves which means they cover all the way down to the wrist. Your watch may get in the way though, hence you will have to wear it further down into your wrist. I feel this small point is worth it since it will keep you warm. When it comes to handling the cold, I would say it will keep you warm up to ~41 F (5 C). Any lower than that and it becomes a matter of how much can you withstand the cold since the weather will start to pierce through the glove.”
