Initially, there was a little back and forth on the color I wanted (grey vs Chamois Yellow). The grey listed as available on the site but when I went to order it, not available. I settled for the Chamois Yellow. Initially I was reluctant to purchase this color because I was thinking the gloves would just look like a every day pair of "work gloves". You know standard leather gloves you wear when doing yard work or other "man" things. These gloves are far from that. Simply beautiful!!!! As you look at the detail in the craftsmanship, there are no flaws. The contrasting stitching is spot on and the inner cashmere lining is soft, warm and gives a feeling, dare I say, of mothers comfort. I look forward to receiving my second pair, in grey, to have options with my current overcoat selection. Thanks, Paul Deagle

This pair of gloves is of remarkable quality, the seams are perfectly executed, the cashmere lining is very soft and does not make you sweat. I recommend them without hesitation.

I've been wearing my gloves for a couple of weeks and I love them, the softness is unmatched. Anyone touching them complements the softness. Make sure you you buy a tight fit for ultimate comfort. I'll be back in 15 years when these wear out

These are simply the best gloves I have ever owned. The leather is so soft and they lining is beautifully warm, also they go well with all my winter coats, from Navy Peacoat, to Tweed Hacker and Donegal Great Coat, they bring an extra level of style to the outfit. There was an issue with sizing so I needed to return the 1st pair, Lora at Gentleman’s Gazette saw me through the whole process of exchanging and went over and above to ensure customer satisfaction, so thank you Lora for all your help and thank you Fort Belvedere for another excellent product.

Service, quality and fit is always a concern when buying from a company that is new to me. I was so happy when I received my purchases...service was very fast, quality is great, and it fits perfect as advertised. Thank you, I will be going back to your web site shortly to purchase a couple other items that I had my eye on. Keep up the excellent work!

I bought my gloves about two years ago. In a few months the button broke and in the other glove the green leather in the button hole broke. The customer service was also preatty bad as I live in the nordics, gentlemans gazette called me at the middle of the night. After the first call i send an email and the tinezones. After few days the customer service called again in the middle of the night. So preatty unhappy.

Hi Teemu, I'm sorry to hear about that. That's definitely not the quality and service we aim to provide. I can see that you have been given a promo code to which this order was placed. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience caused and rest assured it will not happen again.

It was with great joy today that I awoke with rain lashing against my window, as I could wear my new peccary gloves for what I intended them for - my wintery early morning 15 minute walk to the coffee shop. When I opened the packet for these gloves there were a few things that surprised me; Firstly, how soft they are...so soft...so delightedly soft; Secondly, they are a lot more yellow than I thought they would be, albeit still good looking and fun. My hands measure 8.7" and I order the nappa gloves in 8.5 and they will stretch slightly as they break in. These are 8.5 too but immediately felt big enough on my hands without any stretching. I also ran water over them from a tap, the water beading as expected.. So with brolly held high by gloved hand, rain tumbling over, I made my way. As expected, my hands stayed warm and dry. This amount of rain water does not fully bead off the glove and the leather does get damp, needing some air to dry off whilst coffee is drunk. If there is one criticism to be made is that the wrist portion is not long enough. There was always a gap between gloves and coat sleeve that was a bit annoying. About an extra inch in length would be so much better and worth the extra expense. Ultimately, these gloves are a joy, the soft, soft leather is engagingly tactile, and the colour is fun. I would love to try a pair of unlined peccary gloves when GG restock,
