“I do not review a product until it has been thoroughly field tested, and having experienced the majority of the worst a northeastern winter has to offer I can say with certainty the peccary leather treatment is unrivaled. I no longer have to worry about moisture stains taking my gloves out of commission for days. The "marshmallow" softness they boast is an apt description for my go to pair of gloves. The stitching is of a high quality and lining is warm down to 20 degrees. The fit was near custom and is why I will be buying several pairs in the future of their varying styles. Should you want a pair of gloves that will last you for years to come, look no further than Fort Belvedere.”

“Hello Sven and team, as a 50s something chap I have started this year seriously taking stock of my wardrobe and researching everything to do with gentleman’s style and sartorial matters. As a keen follower of your channel I came across the glove reviews and immediately recognised the quality and scarcity of these items. I can only think of three sources in the world with comparable quality gloves .. Dents uk Lavabre cadet France and yourselves, and I believe you offer the best value. I received the grey cashmere lined water resistant peccary gloves and they are superb. The fit is exactly right, I followed the instructions for sizing, perfect. These gloves will see me out, I’m sure, and are of heirloom quality so one of my sons will be in luck when the time comes. Keep up the good work, one very happy customer in Wales”

“I think these gloves are more of a fashionable glove. It doesn't holds it's warmth like i thought it would. And i think for the price it should be both good looking good enough to keep you warm in at least a 25 degree weather. The gloves are Decent but not good enough for winter cold seasons. Maybe for Fall i guess.”

“The glove are beautiful, soft, and too bulky. But they are not warm enough to keep your hands warm in 25 -f. And I think this purchase is more of a fashion item than a practical and keep your hands warm. Buying this I was thinking I was getting the best of both world. Since it was $300.”

“Was looking for some high quality gloves to invest in. These are great--soft and flexible, though not what I'd call particularly thin due to the lining. The green thread is subtle and beautiful against the medium-dark grey of the leather. The cashmere lining is warm and soft. I look forward to seeing how the gloves age over the years.”
