“I do not frequently wear a suit (once in a few years at most), but am wearing a trim navy suit for my wedding day in a month and wanted a tie that was unique. I was banned from a bolo tie, ascot, or anything else that did not seem formal. My partner purchased me a few ties from Nordstrom's, but none of them really appealed to me. I remember being captivated by the "cri de la soie" knit ties I had seen in Mr. Schneider's video and so came searching for the "right" color. The chartreuse immediately stood out to me and holds a place of significance as my future mother-in-law bought me a bottle of green chartreuse to celebrate the wedding of her son earlier this year. I am excited to carry that deeper meaning (as well as my captivation for the mystique of this liqueur) with me during my wedding day. Of course after I placed my order, I saw that there are specific ties worn for weddings, but I'm one to chart my own course, in some fashion, and I know that the quality and uniqueness of this tie will stand out, even if it is non-traditional for a wedding. “Previously, I’ve bought numerous knit ties from well known brands that lack character and texture. Fort Belvedere ties are exceptional with their cri de la soie knits. The Chartreuse green is a lot more vibrant than depicted on the site, is well constructed, has a beautiful feel and pairs beautifully with mid gray and petrol or navy jackets as well as tweeds. I have received a lot of compliments from work colleagues, friends and clients. I will be certainly buying more of these knits from Fort Belvedere in the future.”

“When I received it, I was not happy since it is greener than the color in the pic. I put it on a white shirt, charcoal trousers and navy blazer, it was amazing. Now l, I’m happy about the color and decided to get the tobacco brown one as well. I gave it 4 because of the color difference. The quality is amazing”
