“The bootlaces are more brown than i thought they were gonna be. Basically same color as Bordeaux Red bootlaces. Very stylish. The wax doesn't last too long but still an okay lifetime.”

“I have many pairs of "nice" shoes and while the shoes themselves are lovely, the default shoe laces that come with them are lackluster in terms of quality and color. I am delighted to see the many choices of shoe laces that Gentleman's Gazette offers. I ordered multiple sets in various colors and now I can mix and match which allows the same pair of shoes to have different looks. They are also sturdier than those old shoe laces that I got. These shoe laces are a small investment that provide great return value. I find myself enjoying the many new looks of my beloved shoes.”

“The burgundy laces were well packaged and easy to install on my AE Dalton wingtips (similar to those pictured on the website). I had the original laces that blended in to the shoe, but now with the burgundy laces (also picked up the navy and charcoal) - I can swap them in to stand out or pick up colors from the rest of my ensemble. For instance, my favorite boutonniere is a shade of burgundy, and while people tend to notice the AE Dalton's already, when they see the laces related to my other accessories, they are more likely to positively compliment my choices.”

“The quality of my original laces was sub-par and frequently broke when I tried to lace them. I wanted a boot lace that had more pop and endurance. I thought the Fort Belvedere laces were thicker for boots. However, they worked well.”
