I live in Washington DC. Cherry Blossoms are part of our culture. I've received several compliments on my boutonniere.

Looks exactly the way you'd hope a cherry blossom boutonniere would. Sits very nicely in my lapel and is a nice medium size that's just enough to be noticed but not overpowering. Very happy with it!

2nd last pictures is the best representation of the boutonniere. Looks good in person. A nice little touch to add when you want something subtle.

The primary issue I’ve always had is that while I knew how to dress myself appropriately for various levels of formality, I never knew how to accessorize in ways that deviated from “the formula.” I had seen deviations go awry so often than I developed an acute sense of what the person was trying to achieve, but I had no schema such that I could achieve it myself. Theoretical knowledge is,, of course, extremely important, but it was the way in which the videos produced by The Gentleman’s Gazette had frequent cutaway shots to illustrate the theory that made the application of theory accessible to me in ways it hadn’t been before. That change in my thinking has allowed me much more control over how I choose to look. (This will become important in my post script). I have a love of espionage history and nonfiction, as well as a general interest in history overall. There is an informal term in espionage and military circles called the “Coriolanus Nightmare” which is based on Gaius Marcius, who was one of Rome’s most effective generals. After the siege of Corioli, he was referred to as Coriolanus. Eventually, He was exiled and retired to a city called Antium. All of this would have no bearing in a review of Fort Belvedere products if it were not for the Anitum orchid, which is, of course, an anagram of Antium. While the orchid available through Fort Belvedere is not an Anitum, it still gives me great pleasure to wear it – almost as a sigil. I had lunch at a colleagues home shortly after receipt of my order and wore the orchid boutonniere. My colleague remarked, “once the campuses open up again, you’re going to have many an undergrad saying ‘wreck me, daddy’ under their breath.” The comments I’ve received since ordering Fort Belvedere products may be unorthodox, but they are, nonetheless, enjoyable. Post Script: My primary specialty is internal medicine. I have a secondary specialty in transgender health and transitional care. The rigors involved in obtaining the subspecialty matter much less than my utter appreciation for the way The Gentleman’s Gazette has handled issues of masculinity in the past, as well as its most recent video on lies told to men. In my practice, not everyone is capable of “passing” as they would like. Some of my patients, who are AMAB (a male at birth) have a facial structure that is so inherently indicative of the male sex that even if they were to have both “top and bottom” surgery, they would still require significant facial reconstruction in order to “pass” as a female. The ability to much more granularly choose how I present through the use of Fort Belvedere videos and products has actually given me a much better understanding of the frustration some of my patients go through. Theory and textbooks are indispensable, however, there is a difference between knowing what one is talking about and understanding what one is talking about. I hope Sven and Preston (particularly with his hat collection), consider this review a feather to be confidently stuck in one’s cap.

This bouttoniere is fantastic. This was my first time ordering from Gentleman's Gazette. I was interested in purchasing a few bouttonieres after watching Sven's videos about them. I wanted to buy a high quality and realistic looking bouttoniere. The ones at Gentleman's Gazette really hit the mark. The pink white cherry blossom is a lovely flower, and will work with a lot of my wardrobe. I'm very pleased with the product and highly recommend it to anyone looking to buy a bottouniere. I'll be wearing this as many times as possible.

The edelweiss, Veronica Persica, and the white and pink cherry blossoms boutonnières are all lovely. They add that little something that most outfits are lacking. Today, for Easter, I wore the cherry blossoms on a blue and white seersucker coat, and everyone complimented me about this. Thank you, Gentleman’s Gazette and Fort Belvedere for elevating all of our styles.
