Bought the blue and grey alpaca scarf and have used it several times now. It is very nice: really warm, soft (but not quite as soft as cashmere), tight weave that seems like it will pill less than wool/cashmere, the blue/grey combo is extremely versatile and appealing color combination that fits 90% of my wardrobe, length is standard compared to my other scarfs. I like the feel of alpaca as I also have that lining in my peccary gloves from Fort Belvedere which are also great, my wife loves alpacas so she is very fond of it too! Saw some cashmere scarves at Brooks Brothers which were $250 to $500, this scarf is just as nice (other than slightly less soft) and a great deal at this price. Highly recommended.

I appreciate the fact that I do not need to remove it every time I step inside, but still is warm enough to protect my neck outside. This is therefore a very good first experience for me with Alpaga as a scarf material. On the other hand, the double-sided colour is very convenient, and was praised by my wife. To my taste, the blue could have been darker. Improvement suggestion for next year: why not do have check or herringbone pattern ?

Glad to know you liked it, Bertrand! We use color-graded professional monitors and lighting to reproduce accurate colors, but everyone has different screens so we can't really tell what color you saw initially. We do have check and herringbone patterns available but not for alpaca as they're in wool and cashmere. However, we do have a striped grey scarf in alpaca. Have you checked it out? :)

Before purchasing this scarf, I only had experience with scarfs made of cheap wool or acrylic that were scratchy and uncomfortable. This scarf is very soft and feels great to wear all day. I enjoy wearing it at work when the office is cold and it provides a satisfying warmth outdoors. Wearing scarves is now a pleasure.

I bought this for my father. It was very comfortable and handsome. Versatile while unique, I could not find another scarf like this anywhere else. Would buy again here in the future.

I’m so glad to see you carry alpaca products. Sadly, the clothing industry has never really adopted alpaca to the same extent it has adopted other natural fibers like wool, silk, and cashmere (at least not enough to my liking). This Alpaca scarf is particularly nice because it almost seems to have a built in thermostat to keep you comfortable throughout the day, and as you enter and exit your car and a building. It is especially useful to have this scarf reversible in the two most versatile colors, navy and mid gray. The only complaint I have is that it is not available in multiple lengths. I really appreciate the way Gentlemen’s Gazzette has multiple lengths in ties, so that I can get a longer length tie, which I prefer. You should consider doing the same in your scarves. For me, a longer length of 78 or 80 inches would be perfect.
