“I have had these gloves for a just over a year, and in this year I have abused them. Severely. They’ve been soaking wet, muddy, scratched, scraped, poked, burned, and more. The only visible damage is on the right button, upon which I took a hard fall. The gloves themselves look beautiful, have developed a patina, and are wrinkly — which perhaps I can iron out! These belong in any man’s wardrobe.”

“The gloves are very nice, soft and playable leather, beautiful design, and with attractive masculine features. One problem was that the gloves came with the seam of the right index finger thread coming undone. Additionally after two days of using the gloves while walking around a seem on the detailing of the left hand started coming undone, some of the threads on the cuff started coming undone as well. I am sure that this is not typical, I know that Fort Belvedere takes pride in quality and I have other items from you guys that I love. I am sure that I just got a lemon, but I am disappointed because this is my first pare of Fort Belvedere gloves.”

“Got to try these gloves out when the GG sent me the wrong ones by accident. Came with a mild black stain mostly on the right hand. Good water proofing only fails when leather is being stretched being exposed to water. Leather smelt amazing. They sent me the correct gloves immediately after I sent photos. Only complaint is the stain.”

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us, Jade. For the stain, you can try submerging it in water with a bit of gentle detergent or baby shampoo, leaving for a few minutes, then taking it out and allowing it to dry completely. We always do our best to help. :-)

“The gloves have a nice color and craftsmanship, but the sheen added due to the watercoating was not a look I preferred.”
