“I have looked for a gold coloured buckle for a long time which I could pair with my (rose) gold coloured Tissot watch, but I have only found brushed gold versions, which I do not particularly like. Fort Belvedere solves this and does so in conjunction with an exchangeable belt system, which means that I do not have to buy multiple gold-buckled belts! When paired with the corresponding silver buckle, the Havana brown belt and the black belt I now feel that I have a belt for every occasion — Indeed, I can successfully pair all my leather & metal accessories, shoes, belts, watches, etc. The buckle itself is of a classic design, it's subtle and non-flashy and it feels a bit heavy but consequently very sturdy. A somewhat unexpected side effect of this is that the belt is lounder than my other belts when taking it on and off. Moreover, attaching the buckle to the belt is very easy. Lastly, on the unknown side, I have yet to find out how long the plating lasts, but hopefully for a long time. Overall the buckle has the singular feeling of quality.”
