We could not agree more with you on this, Ned! Solid grey or navy suits look very well with it and it also makes for a great business with a conservative three-piece suit. The navy is very dark looks great with pale blue shirts, but it also works with pastel shirts and any kind of solid color. Great choice of tie indeed! “This tie has shell of 100% silk , smooth , and 3 fold tie . really like it. Brought it from recommendations from Antonio and love it. thanks Raphael and Fort Belvedere. Works well with low toned dress shirts with solid pattern. This checkered pattern in tie is also called glen check, glen plaid and Glen Urquhart check. Never use it with shirts having crossing pattern of irregular checks, use it with grey suit and white dress shirt”

“Another fantastic product from Fort Belvedere! A very elegant tie in a classic pattern. Looks very dapper when worn with a navy suit for more formal or business occasions. And because the tie is thin, I can wear bigger knots without appearing bulky or disproportionate due to a thick interlining.”
