“Hi. As you may or may not know, the blue cornflower as a boutonniere has a sordid history. Worn by members of the NSDAP during the time the party was illegal in the 1920s and early 30s, it has recently been reactivated as a sign of far-right wing politics by parties like Germany's AfD and Austria's FPÃ–. I urge you to reconsider this item.”

“Flower was nice enough looking and packaging and stem length were on point, however, I had to return the item because the color was very washed out and pale - did not at all look like the color depicted online. I was looking for a deep color to accentuate my suit/blazer, but was disappointed.”

“The picture on the web should really be changed. The actual flower is significantly lighter than the depiction, and not nearly as saturated---probably only have as much. That's okay, but not if one is trying to match accent colors with other accessories.”

“After recently helping my son with his high school prom tuxedo I noticed a stain on the lapel from a carnation. We had it professionally twice cleaned twice yet there is still remnants of the stain. My wife's firm just had a formal party in London, which we just returned from. I wanted to wear a boutonniere but did not want to risk ruining my lapel. After doing some online research I stumbled across Gentleman's Gazette. The offerings of boutonnieres is almost overwhelming. I decided on a blue cornflower. I couldn't be more happy with it. It arrived in a lovely hard case with a magnetic closure which will store it safely for years to come. It looked even better on my tux, elegant yet not overstated.
