“I like the collar clip. It's small enough to not be noticeable. It's small size and rounded contour also makes it hard to hold onto. It keeps slipping out of my fingers. It take some practice.”

“This is by far the best collar bar clip I've ever seen. Very strong spring-loaded clips grip the collar so it stays in place all day and night! Bravo!”

“I had seen one or two professionals in my time wearing collar bars and I had always thought it was a smart addition to their ensemble, but had no idea what they were or where to get one. Enter Fort Belvedere. When I received my bar, I was surprised at how small it was. Be warned that it can be a bit tricky at first to put on and it will only work with some of my collars. I generally prefer bow ties, but find myself going out of my way to wear more ties now. I have no real concerns about the bar itself beyond it being perhaps a bit too short. If they made a series perhaps 1/8-/1/5" longer, I would be very interested in acquiring a few!”

“I'm old. In the "80's," the most recent "hey-day" of the white-collar/white-French-cuffs shirt, one usually wore these with a collar bar, if the collar wasn't a cut-away. In a "retro-move," I recently added some of these back into my shirt closet. But, I don't get the ones with the pin-hole in the collar: I find it limits the use of the shirt. I much prefer the non-penetrating "bar," and this one is fabulous at its job! I ordered both the platinum color, as well as the "rose gold" (for a kind of "throw-back," "in your face" look on certain days). They work wonderfully well and stay put, much better that any I had way-back-when! Now, when I'm not wearing a cut-away collar or button-down, I've been somewhat obsessively using these and liking the look more and more! Thanks, Raphael!!”

“I’m older: Lately, I’ve had a bit of a “retro-fetish” for bringing back the early-mid 80’s look of some elements that had a rennaissamce then from earlier times. I acquired a few “white collar and French cuff” shirts from a couple of my fav makers, and thought they needed —- yep — collar bars. So, after checking, I ordered two from Raphael — a platinum and a rose gold. A few pennies more only than the dreck on eBay or Amazon, but with outstanding customer service and a “miles above the usual” product. They arrived today and are just brilliant! Five stars. They look great, stay attached securely and are so kind to the shirt collar fabric. Highly recommend.”
