Prior to ordering the collar pin, my shirt would be damaged by the hole left in the collar from the one I had. The collar pin is thin enough to leave a not noticeable hole and my collar is not damaged. I am very satisfied with the quality of the product and have gotten favorable feed back while wearing it. I will be back.

As the name implies it reminds of a regular safety pin, although it's not really the same, because this one has the right dimension to allow you to put it easily through your pinholes (you don't necessarily have to have pinholes in order to use it) without damaging your collar. Its purpose is to lift up your knot while making your whole outfit look more refined and it succeeds in it perfectly. The material seems to be pretty strong, so that it will be part of your wardrobe for a long time. The color is also spot-on, it looks formal without resulting redundant.

Pin arrived quickly and it is nice and thin so that it does not tear fabric

I bought a gold colored collar pin that perfectly sharpens my look. It's hard to find collar pins these days. And it was the length I was looking for. Thank you.

I was a little conserned about tne actual fastener but it turned out fine. My tie knot stayed just where it belonged. Does the pin come in silver finish also? Thank you. Jim B.

very well crafted, sturdy collar bar, just what I was looking for, but which was proving very hard to find. The demise of J. Press in New York and the general destruction of Brooks Brothers means that items like this will be increasingly hard to find. Thanks to Gentleman's Gazette we have another valuable resource!
