“So I love the make of this. However, when I use the classic narrow spread on a classic collar I can barely get it to stay on (or even get on). I have a 17 1/2" neck so maybe that's the reason. Frankly, I end up using the spread collar clips on my classic and semi-spread and I can't use them on my spread collars. I wish there was one size up, cause they are great when they work.”

Most modern collar clips use inferior springs and will shift and collapse during regular wear. You're absolutely correct, Andre! We recommend wearing a semi-spread or classic collar shirt or a long-sleeved dress shirt with a collar that is not too spread, so you can have the collar clip that pinches in between and keeps the collar together. :-)

Sorry to hear about you didn't like the collar clip, James. We recommend wearing a semi-spread or classic collar shirt or a long-sleeved dress shirt with a collar that is not too spread, so you can have the collar clip that pinches in between and keeps the collar together. Fort Belvedere collar clips are designed to have actual coils and little clip mechanisms that help you really grip the collar so it stays in place.
