The Collar Clip is a highly versatile example of collar jewelry, in that it can be worn without the need to slightly damage your shirt, like a collar pin, or the need for a special pinhole collar, like a collar bar. The clip simply locks into place, clamping onto either end of your collar.

Sorry to hear about you didn't like the collar clip, James. We recommend wearing a semi-spread or classic collar shirt or a long-sleeved dress shirt with a collar that is not too spread, so you can have the collar clip that pinches in between and keeps the collar together. Fort Belvedere collar clips are designed to have actual coils and little clip mechanisms that help you really grip the collar so it stays in place.

“Workmanship appears excellent. It is slightly narrower than I expected. However, I know I’ll need to buy a shirt with a collar that is more accommodating for a clip. Still, it grips the collar firmly despite the spread on the collar being slightly wider than the clip was apparently designed for, and is working fine. Purchased mostly for Bible study group, and occasional social events. Looking forward to wearing for the first time!”
