I stuggle with writing this, as I have purchased ties, pocket squares and boutonnieres from GG and been very satisfied. I recently purchased a $285 wallet, and felt forced to return it. Main issue: the bill divider. The divider is of thin leather that is covered in a lovely red material. However, it is only covered on one side. The red material goes over the top of the divider, and down the other side about 1/4". The rest of that side of the divider is unfinished. It is not a good look. Worse, at the juncture where the red material ends and the unfinished area begins, there is yellowish staining - presumably glue - running the entire length of the bill divider. There was also a warping, or bowing, along the edge of one section of leather (see photo). GG very often uses the term 'unsightly' when discussing lesser aspects of lower quality products. The issues I mention here seem (to me) the epitome of 'unsightly'. I know the bill divider issue has come up before in these reviews. This review was submitted to GG in May, 2024. While I was surprised that this item was presented for sale, I am more than willing to accept correction if it can be explained that these mentioned issues are actually positives. Personally, I came to the GG for this wallet to *avoid* issues such as this, so receiving this wallet was was very surprising. Customer Service was very gracious and efficient, and I did receive a refund.
