“Overall, the two pairs I ordered are quite nice. One thing I like about Fort Belvedere is that in the care of their products, they are honest about what you are getting. The socks came big, but they did shrink down to size as initially described. Whether or not they shrink again after a second wash remains to be seen (however, I doubt they will as long as you air dry them after). The cotton is soft and thin, but it doesn't feel fragile at all. It will be interesting to see how they hold up to regular wear after about a year. However, one thing that I have yet to test is how they stretch over the long term. When putting on a pair, they definitely form to your foot and calf, but (from what I have read) merino wool is supposed to do a better job at reverting back to its original unstretched form when compared to cotton (I could be wrong!). If they don't, it's not a huge deal as long as the socks stay up! They are very nice upon initial unboxing and testing. P.S. Once you receive your order, don't throw away the boxes! Use them for other purposes such as storing accessories. They are too nice to not keep. I, for example, am a clarinetist so I use them to store my reed cases. :)”

Our socks are one of our bestsellers and are built to last. Of course, it depends on how you care for them as well. Slipping and sagging socks that fall down is not comfortable that is why we aim o ensure that our socks will stay up all day and are comfortable to wear. You are right, the Fort Belvedere gree gift boxes are a great use to store your accessories! :-)
