“The Peccary Unlined gloves are perfect for San Francisco weather as it never gets cold enough for a lined pair - in my opinion. More importantly, however, is how wonderfully these gloves fit compared to that of any pair I've ever tried or owned previously. I've received numerous compliments in the brief time that I've owned these which has encouraged me to consider a second pair!!”

“I bought 2 pairs of peccary gloves, 1 lined and 1 unlined. I asked them to show me a picture of the length of the finger of the glove of a size 8, it was around 4 inches. I measured as a 7.8 inch around my palm as instructed and thought I should buy a size 7.5. Keep in mind I do have slimmer hands. Fingers of gloves were still half an inch too long. A bit roomy throughout the hands, not the "tight fit" Sven described how a glove should initially fit. I could've went for a size 7 even though I measure close to an 8. It would be helpful if the website fully displays finger lengths for each sizes. Otherwise the product would've been 5 stars. Not bothered with the effort of returning. I currently reside in Ireland and the tax I had to pay was enough to buy another pair of gloves from Fort Belvedere. Customs might tax me again from an exchange of sizes.”

“SRS you've done it again! After wearing these all my concerns of wearing unlined gloves (something i never tried before) went away. In-fact, i think I prefer them without the lining - less bulky and easier to put on and off. The leather is so soft - it's a joy to wear! plan to use them throughout the new-england winter.”

Glad you liked them, Yuval! Peccary leather gets softer the more you wear it and connoisseurs prefer to wear them unlined at all times, so I do understand why you like gloves unlined. Looking forward to doing business with you again! :)

“I've had these gloves for about 2 months now. The quality of the leather and the stitching are excellent, and the leather has help up well to repeated contact with snow. However, even though I measured my hand at a little under 9.5 inches following the directions in the video, I found that even a size 8 is slightly loose on me. A size 8 from Ford Belvedere is equivalent in size to my size 9 gloves from Dents (also unlined and in peccary). If I were to order again, I would definitely order my gloves in size 7.5, especially if they were unlined.”

Sorry to hear the size did not work out for you. In our experience they work well for 95% of all men. Of course, some people have different hands. As long as items are unused we are happy to take them back and exchange them for the right size. We want our customers to be happy.

“I simply find the feel of the peccary is truly special and pleasant. I also enjoy the hand make look as it adds charecter to the gloves. Finally it is a bonus that the grey color is easy to bring into any look which simply makes them a great investment.”

“I needed a pair of grey formal gloves and have used GG peccary gloves before. They are excellent -- 5 star. I now have the additional color I desire to use when my others are not appropriate. My step-son is please I have the correct color. I would have given 5 stars except the gloves were delivered in a plastic bag instead of the terrific GG glove box I presumed I'd receive. Boutonniere is nice as well.”

“Once GG intoduced peccary gloves I was hoping to buy. The story of having grey gloves instead of brown or black was so intriguing. This year I treat myself with the pair of superb leather quality and great craftmanship. Ordering and delivery process was superb. I add to my wardrobe not only good looking accessory but what is most exciting, comfortable warm layer for the cold part of the year.”
