“Several months ago purchased a pair of shoes that I thought could use better laces. Uooomy search for those laces I discovered Fort Belvedere. I meant to purchase a pair, but then forgot about it. Fast forward to recently when I came across The Gentleman's Gazette videos on YouTube. While watching them (they might be the best thing on YouTube/the entire internet) I realized it's the same company as where I had meant to purchase a pair shoelaces. Around that time I was doing my pre-spring shoe inventory to decide what needs maintenance or needs to go. Having watched several episodes by the time of the purchase (including the shoe lace one), I bought laces for several pair of shoes rather than just one. It was just enough of a freshening that some of the shoes needed to renew my interest in them. I also think I made less obvious but better choices having watched the videos. My colleague, upon seeing both the laces and the box they came in when I received it, is now convinced that having a good selection of laces and a nice box to keep them in is a worthwhile addition to his shoe wardrobe.”

“I have gotten at least two compliments. One about the red shoe laces, and the other about how I looked. A look down to my shoes made he suspect it was about the shoe laces. What changed: my overall look and I feel it is all about the color change. I have a pair of four eyelet Allen Edmonds shoe laces. My new shoe laces are almost too long for the shoes. I have to double lace through the one set of eyelets and then double tie as indicated in your videos. Dale Skornia”

“These colored shoe laces are a fun, cost-effective way to freshen up your look without being gaudy or garish. I recently purchased 4 pairs of the round, colored dress shoe laces, and I have been very happy with my purchase. The laces are good quality: they have enough waxing to keep them from drooping or looking wrinkly when tied. I like to pair them with either my brown or black oxfords, because colored laces (like the orange and blue) make what is typically a pretty formal shoe look a little less serious. With so many colors to choose from, I plan to purchase more in the future.”

“Let me say that before I watched the Gazette video on lacing your shoes? I was woefully in the dark regarding shoe wear. The video straightened me out but also gave me the idea to change up my footwear with colored laces. Normally I am a big fan of colored socks but the colored laces have just added much more to my routine. Now my friends want to know what color socks I am wearing today and then notice the laces match something else in my dress. Thank you for the videos and the products. I will be returning to shop some more on the site.”
