“Buying this Hunter Green Cri de la Soie tie filled two voids in my tie collection, as I had a lack of green ties and knitted silk ties. Unfortunately, the tie is shorter and narrower than advertised. If stretched, it reaches the advertised measurements, but it doesn't take long before it's back to its normal length and width, which is 137 cm and 6 cm respectively. That's 10 cm (4 inches) shorter and 1 cm (2/5 inch) narrower than expected, which is quite a disappointment. If worn with a mid-rise pair of trousers, the tie would look comically short, making it unwearable. If you don't mind the (actual) length and width, I wholeheartedly recommend this product - the quality is superb and the colour is gorgeous (a bit less blue than in the pictures though). It will definitely net a bunch of compliments.”

Thanks for bringing the length issue to our attention. Since it is a natural product in can shrink quite a bit indeed and humidity levels also impact it. Since you want it longer, I suggest to store it hanging so it gets to the desired length. We will also look into the production and see what we can do to insure the stay as long as advertised. Sorry about that!

“I have purchase several knit ties -Fort Belvedere from your shop. I am more that happy with the varying colours and excellent quality of these ties. They are both formal and informal at the same time which make them very practical in daily use.”
