Hi William, we're sorry that the bow tie didn't have an accurate measurement. Our bow ties are made by hand and slight discrepancies happen sometimes. I understand that a return label has been sent to you so we can issue a refund.

“Ever since seeing Sven's video on a how to tie a single ended bow tie in 2015, I knew I wanted one. With the first tuxedo event in the post-COVID era coming up, I took the opportunity to add this bowtie into my collection. The silk feels glorious, and it sits in a unique manner on my winged collar. I love it! For those of us who like to be in photos, the silk moiré is just stunning in the right light which is a nice flash camera shot. That's really helpful in a darker event where flash shots are the norm. I highly recommend this product.”

“I purchased a single-end bow tie in black silk moiré to go with a top-class made-to-measure wing collar shirt. Although the tie is rather pricey, I am happy with the quality, as with all Fort Belvedere products I have purchased. I particularly wanted a single-end bow tie for the feature of no size adjuster showing; moreover, the moiré pattern suits my taste. I have yet to receive a comment on the tie, but have only received complements on my other Fort Belvedere products, most notably my boutonnieres.”

“I did not have a nice black bow tie and I want to be a bit extravagant so I went with a single end bow tie and it was the right decision. Every one at the party loved it. Now I have an amazing silk bow tie”
