“The pair of these gloves is truely a unique drop in the sea of modern mass produced, impersonal, and unoriginal black clothing and accessories of questionable quality. These gloves have an excellent fit: the ends of the gloves reach well over the wrist and feel snug and comfortable when the button is closed. The leather is extremely soft and supple, which, along with the soft and warm cashemere lining, make the gloves warm and pleasant to wear. As for the glove appearance/style, I must say the color is fabulously eccentric for fashion and style conscious gentlemen. These burgundy gloves easily match virtually any classic fall/winter coat and work well in combination with many shades of brown and oxblood-colored shoes as well as scarves with burgundy-colored elements. Overall, I am very pleased with the quality, fit, as well as functional and aesthetic properties of these gloves.”

“I've had a lot of trouble finding any other colour gloves than dark brown or black at local retailers. These superbly made gloves from Fort Belvedere give me a lot more options when coordinating outfits. I get positive comments from both men and women when wearing these. The sizing is accurate, I'm looking forward to purchasing another pair in Gray and one in Tan.”

“The workmanship of these gloves is superior to the pair of Brooks Brothers gloves that I own (and the cost is comparable). It’s hard to find men’s gloves in this color as well. I have received several compliments on them and couldn’t be happier with my purchase.”

“Ordering: I ordered the gloves during the evening of 7 January. I waited until the 13th before I contacted Mr. Schneider concerning the order. I had not seen the status on the order change since I placed the order on the 7th. No more than two minutes after I emailed Mr. Schneider, he replied to me and indicated that there might have been an error with the web site/order process. He told me he would look into it. The next morning, on the 14th the gloves were shipped. I received the gloves on January 19th. Shipping: The glove box came in a larger box to make sure the presentation box remained in good shape. The Fort Belvedere presentation box is a lovely box with a magnetic lid that allows for the box to be easily opened and shut and to be used as a summer storage box for the glove. The gloves came wrapped in tissue paper as further protection. Gloves: The color of the gloves are represented well on the web site. However, they are naturally more stunning in person.
