“Was in the market for a nice pair of gloves which stoood out a hit without being flashy. I purchased the petrol gloves from fort belvidere and was incredibly impressed. They are extremely comfortable and attractive. The only issue is that the color in the pictures do not match the actual gloves. What I received was more real than aqua. It’s a nice color nonetheless, so I wasn’t interested in exchanging.”

“What was your problem before you had Fort Belvedere products? -I could never really find a glove made out of satisfactory materials with a close fit. What changed because of us and our products? -I now have that! These gloves are fantastic, and the color is very unique. Like other reviewers have said, they are a little more green than in the picture, but that doesn't make the color any less stunning. The only reason I didn't put 5 stars is because, now that they have the peccary gloves cashmere lined, I need room to review those at 5 stars when I get them! How do you feel now, what changed, what do others say? -It definitely makes your winter outerwear "pop". While I have gotten a few compliments (and a lot of admirable stares), for me it is invaluable just knowing the kind of quality product I have literally at my finger tips.”

“First, let me say that these are an exceptional quality pair of gloves. The leather is supple and the construction is really well done. As with many other reviewers after purchasing these gloves I noticed that the color on the website is incorrect as to the color you will receive. Take a look at the petrol blue with white trim driving gloves as the actual color of these are a lot closer to them. Much more green than expected. I will definitely be keeping them, but I was really hoping for that brighter blue color than the darker one that I received. Again, these gloves are one of the highest quality pair of gloves you can find outside of peccary.”

“The leather is quite thin and already soft the first time you try on the glove. Due to the quirks (between the fingers) and the button closure they are a perfect fit without restricting finger movement at all. This pair of gloves is far superior to any other glove (not from FB) I have - and I do own expensive gloves.”

“I am very happy with my gloves from Fort Belvedere. I was hesitant to buy them at first because of the price, but I splurged and am happy I did so. As others have noted, the color is more green blue than blue which I don't mind and have grown to really like. It pairs very well with my navy overcoat. They are comfortable and very, very close to being a perfect fit. I followed the videos from this site to determine my hand/glove size and this worked out very well. This is my second purchase from Sven's shop and won't be the last.”
