“Looking to complete a white tie ensemble for my wedding, I purchased the white unlined leather evening gloves by Fort Belvedere. The quality of the product was unmistakable and even a persnickity friend admired and commented on them. I did find the cuff to be somewhat large to fit under the sleeve of the tailcoat, but the gloves didn't look correct worn to the outside like a gauntlet. Either way, they worked, and I am happy both for the product and for the sartorial advice I garnered from the Gentleman's Gazette. Cheers, Rick”

Dear Rick, we listened to your feedback and changed the design of our evening gloves. They are now suede and we shortened them a little and added a button so they fit neatly around your wrist, without any sort of bunching up. We tested the with a tailcoat and stiff fronted shirt and a tuxedo with double cuff shirt and they work perfectly.

“1. What was your problem before you had Fort Belvedere products? It's was difficult to find elegant classic quality genuine accessories that work in harmony and elevate the ensemble that one is trying to put together when going out to a formal or semi-formal event. The thing about making such accessories is that you need to be cultured in the subjects of upscale events, etiquete, and attire in order to get the details on the accessories correct. Finding such products from someone who actually knows about these details was my problem prior to being introduced to Fort Belvedere products. 2. What changed because of us and our products? I'm now able to purchase these hard-to-find products from a single Web site with ease. 3. How do you feel now, what changed, what do others say? I feel that I'm now able to dress exactly the way I want to----sophisticated, refined, and polished. What distinguishes a gentleman's ensemble from decent and nice to elegant and sophisticated are the details. This is where Fort Belvedere products come into place.”

“After an understandable holiday snafu, once I finally received my gloves they were beautiful, and a better fit in that size than Paul Stuart gloves, with the exception of unusually long thumbs. They look and feel great and were an excellent value for the price.”
