“My father was a lieutenant commander in the US Navy in both the Atlantic and Pacific theatres of action during WWII. Every Veterans' Day on November 11th, he would proudly wear a bright red poppy in his lapel in honor of the sacrifices made on behalf of our country by so many of his friends and fellow servicemen. Growing up, I always admired this powerful token of my father's fight and now Fort Belevedere has created the perfect poppy for my own buttonhole. No, I've never fought on the field of battle but I can say with some little pride that I've won a few tough battles of my own in my lifetime, some of them even on behalf of others. So perhaps, in some modest way, I've earned this poppy, after all. And what beaut! Thank you, Fort Belevedere. Here's thinking of you, Pop! P.S. This poppy sees a lot of action itself--and not just on November 11th. Just sayin'.”

“The poppies i bought were beautiful, I hadn't expected them to be so delicate and well-made. I can't wait to wear one of them, both as an adornment and in memory of those who have died in conflict. A well-deserved five stars!”
