“For three summers straight I had admired my new seersucker jacket from afar--from the back of my closet to be precise. It rankled me that I couldn't figure out exactly what it was that made me consistently switch it out for my less...um...kinetic linen jacket. And then I discovered the Fort Belevedere yellow buttercup mini boutonnière and zap! my long buried seersucker rose from the dead like Lazarus! Yes, it seemed like a little miracle at the time but my story has an even happier ending. The first night I slipped the buttercup through the buttonhole (securing it by a technique I learned in Gentlemen's Gazette), I closed a business deal over drinks at The Blue Bar in New York and found a new squash partner by the time coffee was poured. Coincidence? Perhaps. But I choose to think it was self confidence triggered by my new secret weapon--Fort Belvedere. Thanks, guys!”
