“Full disclosure I initially ordered a grenadine tie that arrived damaged. With that being said the follow up was excellent and it was replaced. The second tie arrived in an elegant gift box, so an A+ for presentation which counts for a lot with me. The tie itself is rich in both color and texture and suits my current needs with distinction. I used to wear a lot of solid color blazers with solid shirts and have a nice collection of ties rich in color and pattern. Over time many of my shirts and sport coats have also become richly patterned as well, so I realized I needed a few more subtle ties in my collection. I've always hated our current presidents dress style with the big bold shiny solid color power ties that he wears, and found a grenadine tie with its rich color and texture to be the perfect solution, adding subtle interest to my get ups without making them any busier. Sean Connery had it about right as James Bond, grenadine ties are simple and elegant solution and go with just about everything! Cheers to Sven and his staff for a great experience.”

“Much to my disappointment, I did not receive the dark blue tie that I ordered; the tie I received is obviously navy blue, and looks exactly like the navy grenadine, and nothing like the blue one I thought I was buying. This is a beautiful grenadine, though. Being only three fold, rather than the standard four fold, it is thinner than my other grenadines, and looks more casual, almost like a knit tie. For my purposes, the thinner three fold works fine, because I wear a long length tie, but have been unable to find quality knit ties in 2 3/4" width, so I can wear this almost like a knit tie. I decided to keep it even though I received the wrong color because Of the thinner nature of the Fort Belvedere grenadines.”

“The tie is thicker than expected. The length is perfect. It is a little bit different than my regular ties and it will be a change of style for me, I will give it a go. The texture is great.”
