“I’ve never adopted a bow tie in my professional attire for several reasons. At the top is the risk one runs of evident pretension (never desirable in a gentleman) in the pursuit of a style without careful thought to the aesthetic of adopting this classic neckwear and investment in nothing less than quality material and craftsmanship. It takes a certain kind of gentleman to truly pull it off with confidence, not ornament at the center. As an older gentleman I know what works for me and decided yes, a bow tie works and is both classy and classic. My choice from Fort Belvedere’s is the finest material and color palette and its presentation in the green box just perfect for a quality brand. It ties delightfully and has elevated my game. Well done Fort Belvedere!”

“Ive always thought it a good idea to steer clear of brown ties considering that wearing them with brown jackets, of which I have many, seems uneventful, the colors blending unremarkably together . Yet this brown bow tie has a little trick wherein it appears to have an almost greenish brown base when placed near my brown jackets,perhaps stimulated by the turquoise diamonds, yielding it both versatile and interesting. It's now a favorite of my collection.”
