“It can be so difficult to judge the quality of a product online. I was apprehensive about purchasing both a pocket square and this tie online. It is difficult under the best circumstances to match up clothing items that are supposed to compliment each other. I HOPED GG understood this and photographed their items in the same or similar lighting and conditions to minimize the error of trying to match clothing online. They did. The tie and square were exactly as expected when the arrived. In fact I was relieved at the quality of the pieces. I was even more impressed by the high quality presentation box the arrived in. In addition the whole experience was flawless and items arrived accurately and promptly. Could not be improved. I will not hesitate to shop here again. Thank you for your exceptional attention to detail in the online photography department, it does matter and make a difference.”

“I had problems to find affordable ties with a good construction. Usually, I buy good ties second hand - but finding an excellant tie (e.g. Drakes or Cappelli) second hand in a colour or pattern I am looking for is like looking for a needle in a haystack. With Fort Belvedere, I have a great selection of high-end-ties now without spending a fortune.”

“I initially passed on this tie because it looked to vivid in the online photo to be true ancient madder. However, a previous reviewer noted that when he received the tie it was a little dull compared to the photo. That alerted me that the tie was, in fact, true ancient madder red, so I decided to order one, and it is, in fact, more dull than the photo, as a true ancient madder red would be. Upon receiving the tie, I confirmed that this is an unusual, but beautiful ancient madder red, and I am pleased with the tie. Highly recommended.”

“Excellently made bow tie I appreciated the tipped bat wing ends which are harder to find. Material is excellent. Color a bit too muted than I expected from the online picture though.”
