Whilst this irons well (great for the price), the base is so annoying! If I iron cordless, it’s not always easy to get the iron back on the base, and it’s often ended up on the floor. It’s as if it’s too light. Ironing with the base attached can be equally irritating as it swivels round and the cord gets in the way! This isn’t my first cordless iron, and I’ve never experienced these problems before.

Great to have an iron with no cord but unfortunately it does not stay hot long enough to iron just 2 sleeves on a T-shirt so therefore not very impressed but as it was so cheap I will keep it as a spare

Not clear from instructions how much water to put in tank (different level if flat or vertical). Emailed customer services for clarification, who haven't bothered to reply.

I bought this iron because it got a decent (not the best) review on Which?, it is lightweight & not expensive. The idea of a cordless model appealed but I'm not sure how practical it is as haven't worked out how long I can iron before the temp falls too far. The soleplate glides well & you put it back on the charging base while you rearrange the garment. It reheats within seconds. I often have to wiggle the iron to get it to attach to the base which is annoying but this may improve as I become more familiar with it. Overall I'm happy so far
