“Wasn't convinced by the value of a smart kettle but in a connected home, decided to bite the bullet. Build quality feels good and the kettle looks like a premium appliance. Setup was really easy with good instructions and the device is managed through the Alexa app. Various options include control of the heating temperature and keep warm functions which are a nice feature. Simple to include the kettle as part of a custom routine triggered by a voice command or through the app. It's not the quickest at boiling water but overall is a great bit of kit. Would I recommend it? Yes. . . . . even more so if you can bag it on offer.”

“Unfortunately this kettle was not as good as I was expecting it to be having read other reviews. My first disappointment was that you could not see the water level without having to open the lid every time, I'm a man who likes to walk up to my kettle and just see how much water and then just powering on for a fresh boil. To boil a full kettle of water seemed to take alot longer than my old ninja kettle, and when the temp did get to 100 degrees, it never actually finishes right away, you can hear the relay switch click in and out to get last bit of heat into the water. The touch controls on many occasions seemed unresponsive on first press so we were having to rub our finger over the on button for a short moment to get it to trigger. The alexa idea is great, but we all soon realised this was pointless as we needed to get up and check the water level before activating the boil so that soon stopped and we just started using it as a regular kettle. It didn't take long for my whole family to express their disappointment and therefor, we have now put the good of faithful ninja back into play.”

“Delivery was very swift. The kettle replaced a Smarter version, which was seemingly out stock everywhere, and I needed a kettle. Swan, to the rescue. It connected to my WiFi very easily. Nice on the eye. Used to such kettles bereft of a water gauge, so that’s not an issue. Think I rather this kettle have its own app, rather than it piggy back onto the Alexa app. Doesn’t boil as quickly as the Smarter kettle. Not surprisingly, as it’s not as powerful. Certainly does the job. Trying to register this kettle, for warranty purposes online, was impossible. An email, to Swan Customer Services, took several days to elicit a response. Thankfully, Luke, Customer Service, registered my kettle, on my behalf, responding to another query, at the same time. In conclusion, happy with the delivery , and with the kettle, overall. Cheaper than the Smarter version. Plus my Swan kettle was reduced further in price, on their website. Win! Win! On the back of this purchase, I’ve now bought a Swan egg boiler/poacher. Thank you.”

“There is nothing I don't like about this kettle, easy to use, seems to be good on the electric. Bonus was it was so easy to connect it to Alexa.”
