Dental Lace is the most eco-friendly natural dental floss on the market. The floss is made from 100% mulberry silk (not polyester or bamboo / polyester blend). It's packed in a small glass jar with a stainless steel lid and the 'plastic' bag that the second spool comes packed in is actually a plant based film that's biodegradable. Refill packs are available to purchase. There is no plastic in the packaging of this product and we do not use plastic in our packing materials.LENGTH - 2 x 30m spoolsPlease note: the silk is made from silk worms. We do have a vegan option available in this brand, but the floss contains polyester and is not 100% plastic free.

“This is a really nice floss to use - I love the packaging, and that the floss itself is biodegradable. It does tend to snap if you pull to hard on it, but otherwise it's a great option for ecological flossing.”

“I originally purchased this dental floss for the practicallity of the glass casing. However am disappointed in that it keeps splitting off in between my teeth and can take a few attempts to remove the torn thread. Won’t purchase again. Prefer the Noosa Basics thread, just wish they packaged theirs in glass. Shop Naturally Note: This is a natural silk fibre floss, the Noosa Basics has a plastic base. If you have teeth that can be hard getting floss in and out of you may have problems with this floss. We are enjoying however! :-)”
